After travelling to Grand Rapids, MI on our first day, our Lake Michigan Tour kicks off on Day 2 with the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculptures Park and a Tram Tour. We then head to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Phillip a Hart Visitors Center and enjoy an included dinner in Traverse City, MI.

On day 3 we’ll stop at the Traverse City Tourism Office, drive past Mushroom Houses in Charlevoix, then it’s off to the Mackinac City Marina to take the Sheplers Ferry to Mackinac Island for a 2 night stay at Lake View Hotel.

The following morning we’ll take a carriage tour of the island, enjoy an included group lunch at the Grand Hotel Tea Room, after which you’re free to explore the island on your own.

Day 5 starts with a ferry ride back to Mackinac City. From there we head to Sault Ste Marie, where you’ll enjoy an included lunch and experience the Soo Locks Boat Tour.

Our Lake Michigan Tour concludes with a stop in Escanaba for another included lunch and a visit to the Delta County Historical Society Museum & Sandpoint Lighthouse.
